BURS Donates a house in Mandunyane

Through their Corporate Social Responsibility Botswana Unified Revenue Service in the North Region donated a house to the needy in Mandunyane village on 4th September 2014. The house was handed over to the family of Mr Kane Jane under one of the pillars of Vision 2016 “Towards a compassionate, just and caring nation”. Even though their mandate is to collect revenue, facilitate legitimate trade and manage boarders for the development and security of Botswana, BURS find it befitting to abide by the President’s housing appeal to provide a shelter to the needy. Through their staff in the northern region, BURS handed over a two beds house with furniture, a pit latrine toilet, fenced yard, a garden and water connection and a wheelchair to the wife of Kane Jane who is now paralyzed.
